The Interfraternity Council, or IFC, is the governing body that promotes and governs 12 fraternities at the University of South Florida. The role of the council is to provide opportunities for fraternity leaders to come together, set goals, resolve conflicts, and insure that all activities adhere to the rules set forth by the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life, the Interfaternity Council, and the national fraternal organizations. The council is also responsible for coordinating fraternity participation in intramural sports, compiling and reporting scholastic standings, and informing chapters about upcoming events like Homecoming and Greek Week.
