The National Pan-Hellenic Council, or NPHC, is a council in which each member organization takes pride in itself. The National Pan-Hellenic Council is made up of nine fraternal organizations which all have very rich history and are based on common principles. NPHC is very active in the Tampa Bay community and the national council is active in communities nationwide. The National Pan-Hellenic Council looks to achieve excellence in all aspects of life. NPHC organizations are not limited to African Americans; they are open to people of all backgrounds. Joining an NPHC fraternity/sorority is a great way to get involved in campus life and is also an excellent way to make the college experience exciting and memorable. 5 of the 9 chapters that make up The National Pan-hellenic Council currently have active chapters at USF.
