Vision/Mission/Core Values of the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at the University of South Florida is a multi-functioning office that serves various aspects of the Fraternity and Sorority community. The office services include:

• Education on steps to joining and safe new member programs
• Values-clarification and exploration programming
• Risk reduction education and programs (ex. Hazing, Alcohol and other drugs, bystander intervention, hosting safe social events, etc.)
• Leadership development experiences
• Consultation for chapters and councils
• Advising for councils
• Marketing, outreach, and advocacy on behalf of fraternities and sororities

Every fraternity and sorority member at USF will exemplify the highest level of academic excellence, ethical decision making, personal responsibility, and global citizenship.

MISSION

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at USF cultivates positive and meaningful life-long fraternal experiences by providing quality education, advising, and outreach that lead to values-based decision making, continuous learning, and the holistic development of USF students, chapters, and councils.
